As a prior US Marine Corps Officer, Brett brings a unique discipline to corporate finance. During his years of service Brett was an M1A1 tank officer, commanding and providing recommendations for the tactical employment of his unit. After his service as a Marine Officer, he began bringing the firepower to retirement plans. Brett has been in the corporate finance industry for 16 years, working as an advisor for Merrill Lynch and UBS Financial Services, and earning industry recognition such as the 2017 NAPA Young Guns Award and being named Financial Times Top 401(k) Advisors in 2016 and 2017. With a desire to provide a more personalized approach without sales quotas or proprietary products, he founded Henderson Wealth Management as an independent firm. When he is not facilitating retirement plans, Brett enjoys much of his time as a father with his young son Lucas. He also enjoys taking his Jeep on desert expeditions. He graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Accounting in 1998, and Boston University with a Master of Science in Business Administration in 2002.
